St Patrick’s Day Candy Martini
Here’s a deliciously fun little something; the St Patrick’s Day Candy Martini. It’s from resident mixologist, Fabio Serafini, at The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt Estate in Ireland. The dreamy mix of pear vodka, apple schnapps and lemon grass gets its “Irish flag effect” by setting the glass in crushed ice colorized in orange. So go ahead, celebrate in style.

Ingredients
- 3 fresh lemon grass
- 4cl Absolut Pear Vodka
- 8 cl Green Apple Schnapps
- 1 spoon of fresh cream
- Touch of dry saffron
Instructions
- Mash the lemon grass into the shaker very well, then add the Pear Vodka and the Apple schnapps
- Add ice and shake vigorously
- Pour into a martini glass and top up with cream (make sure the cream is very dense) being very careful to leave the cream on the top (like an Irish coffee)
- Decorate with 2 lines of dry saffron on the top of the cream
