Grilled Pear Margarita

The sweet, smoke, and salt rims of this Grilled Pear Margarita are a perfect balance. So says mixologist, Steve Wilcoxson, of this creation for The Grill at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, FL.

  • Sauza Anejo tequila
  • Fresh pear
  • Agave nectar
  • Pear nectar
  • Fresh lime juice


  1. Grill the pear for about 5 minutes, then sous vide* it for several hours with agave nectar
  2. Puree the pear and agave mix then combine with fresh lime juice, more agave nectar and Sauza Anejo Tequila
  3. Chill and strain into a chilled glass
