Bluegrass Cobbler Cocktail

Bluegrass Cobbler Cocktail

One of the best new cocktails we’ve come across in a while, with bourbon and maraschino cherry liqueur. The recipe originated at Micheal’s on East in Sarasota, Florida, using Blanton’s Bourbon and Luxardo Maraschino liqueur. We didn’t have Blanton’s or Luxardo brands when we made this but the result was still delicious, and we made it a short drink while Michael’s uses a highball. (ie. we used less juice and sour mix)

Watch the drink being made.

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz maraschino liqueur
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • 1 slice of orange
  • Splash of pineapple juice
  • Splash of sweet and sour mix

  1. Muddle the cherries and orange slice in the bottom of your glass
  2. Add ice, bourbon and maraschino liqueur
  3. Top with the pineapple juice and sweet and sour mix
  4. Stir and serve
