Trashiontini
A trashion party invite inspired this deliciously, uh, trashyly different cocktail. Served martini style (or however you like) the idea is to use erstwhile trash. Frankly, that gives you considerable scope to use anything you would otherwise toss out, without creating something you might actually toss up.

Ingredients
- The morning’s leftover coffee
- Whatever hooch has been sitting around for years (I used homemade limoncello that I’d made in over-abundance) Something along the lines of vodka, white rum or gin or is best (higher proof helps!!!)
- Prune juice
- Simple syrup
- Cola
- Squeeze of lemon juice (optional but helpful to
kill, er, improve the taste) - Shake everything over ice and strain into any old chipped or cracked glassware or, as I did, a plastic cup
nabbed, I mean recycled, from a hotel room - Alternatively….
- 1 oz coffee liqueur
- 1 oz prune juice
- 1/2 oz limoncello
- Twist of lemon
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except cola to an ice-filled shaker in whatever quantities work for you
- Shake, shake, shake
- Strain into a well-chilled cocktail glass
