We love the Scarlet Harlot name and this cocktail tastes pretty damn good too. Use Dubonnet or Cynar with brandy and cherries for a rich and warm mixed drink.

Ingredients

  • 12 pitted cherries
  • 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 2 oz brandy
  • 1/2 oz Dubonnet or Cynar
  • 2 dashes orange bitters

Instructions

  1. Muddle the cherries with sugar in a cocktail shaker
  2. Add ice to half-fill the shaker
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and shake ’til it hurts
  4. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
