Earthquake
Supposedly created by Toulouse-Lautrec, the Earthquake cocktail of course has absinthe in it and was named for the effect it has on you. Even the Savoy Cocktail Book states “This is a cocktail whose potency is not to be taken too lightly or, for that matter, too frequently!”
Ingredients
- 1 part gin
- 1 part whiskey
- ¾ or 1 part absinthe
Instructions
- Shake and serve up
- Sugar lump is optional
