Watermelon Lemonade

Watermelon Lemonade

This is a Betty Crocker recipe. It’s great for summer parties and BBQs.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb watermelon (without rind), seeded and cut into chunks
  • 3 or 4 medium lemons
  • 2 medium limes
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Watermelon or lemon slices, if desired

Instructions

  1. Blend the watermelon then strain it into a large pitcher
  2. Squeeze the juice from the lemons and limes and add it to the watermelon liquid
  3. Stir in the watermelon and sugar and refrigerate for at least an hour
  4. Stir again before serving

    If you blended the watermelon and used the juice. How can you add watermelon and sugar. I would think you should say. add sugar to the watermelon, lime and lemon juice. If you add the watermelon that you strained it will all settle at the bottom of the picture.
    Let me know if I misunderstood the directions. It really sounds good, may try it for the 4th.
