The idea for an Indigo cocktail came from a stay at the Hotel Indigo. It also happens that my good friend, Cap’n Carl Fismer (Fizz) dove the shipwreck, Concepcion, and found indigo on the wreck. So be sure to watch the video to find out more.
Here’s the video. Note that I was having one of my more stupid days and kept referring to the Creme Yvette as Creme de Violette. The recipe uses Creme Yvette.
- 1 oz blue curacao
- 1 oz Creme Yvette
- 1/2 oz london dry gin
- 2 dashes lemon bitters
- Add all ingredients over ice in a rocks glass and stir
- Garnish with a lemon twist
