Being Yueng and Green
Yuengling beer and green chartreuse. Some of you may realize that the drink name is a play on words based not only on its ingredients but a poem, Being Young and Green, by Edna St. Vincent Millay.

Ingredients
- 2 oz green chartruese
- 1/4 tsp lavender buds
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger root, chopped
- 1/2 oz creme de cassis
- Bottle of Yuengling Traditional Lager
Instructions
- Pour the chartreuse in a mixing glass and add the lavender and ginger
- Muddle vigorously and allow to steep for 15 – 20 minutes
- Add the creme de cassis
- Add ice and stir well to chill
- Double strain into a chilled glass
- Fill with the lager
