Bethany

Bethany

I’€™d always wanted to try a €˜Green Vesper€™ which is a Vesper (gin, vodka and kina lillet) with Absinthe instead of kina lillet.

I made this instead with red absinth and called it a €˜Bloody Vesper€™. It wasn’€™t bad but I thought I could improve it.

The next day, I added some citrus flavours to make a very tasty, but insanely alcoholic drink and then I named it after my friend who I made it for.

So here is the €˜Bethany€™:

4.5 cocktails based on2 votes

Ingredients

  • 3 shots of gin
  • 1 shot of vodka
  • 1/2 shot of absinthe (red in my version, but try green too)
  • 2 shots of Cointreau
  • Juice of 1/3 lime
  • Squeeze of lemon juice and a twist

Instructions

Squeeze the lime and lemon into a martini glass, rinse to cover the whole glass but leave all the juice inside

Mix all the alcoholic ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well

Pour into the glass on top of the citrus.

That’€™s one powerful drink! (split it in two for a less intense drink)
