This classy variation of the martini replaces vermouth with fino sherry, a delicate and crisp dry sherry. The recipe is from Dale DeGroff’s menu at Blackbird in New York City.

Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons gin
- 1 tablespoon fino sherry
- Strip of orange zest
Instructions
- Fill a shaker with ice and add the gin and sherry
- Stir for one minute
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
