English Rose

Gin, apricot brandy and dry vermouth combine in this rosey tipple. English or not, this could become a perennial favorite.



  • 1 1/2 oz London Dry Gin
  • 3/4 oz apricot brandy
  • 3/4 oz dry vermouth
  • 1 tsp grenadine
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  • Superfine sugar for rimming
  • Cherry garnish


  1. Prepare your glass by rubbing the rim with lemon and dipping into superfine sugar
  2. Shake all the ingredients in ice and strain into the prepared glass
  3. Garnish with a cherry (preferably brandy-marinated)
