Peanut Butter Cup Cocktail (Bargain)

The poor man’s version of the Peanut Butter Cup Cocktail, made with peanut-infused vodka. Tastes just like Reese’s with an extra kick.
Note: 1 cup of vodka infusion is enough for 4 cocktails

Ingredients

  • For the peanut-infused vodka:
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup dry roasted, unsalted peanuts
  • For the cocktail:
  • 2 oz chocolate liqueur
  • 2 oz peanut-infused chocolate
  • 1/2 oz vanilla simple syrup
  • Reese’s mini peanut butter cups for garnish

Instructions

  1. To make peanut-infused vodka:
  2. Use a jar with a tight-fitting lid
  3. Add the vodka and peanuts and shake
  4. Refrigerate for 2 weeks but shake occasionally
  5. After 2 weeks discard the peanuts by straining through a sieve, then again through cheesecloth
  6. Keep the liquor refrigerated
  7. To make the Peanut Butter Cup Cocktail:
  8. Use an ice-filled lowball glass
  9. Add the vodka, chocolate liqueur and simple syrup
  10. Stir well
  11. Garnish with the Reese’s
