
Park’s Edge Martini
This rum-based martini is the signature cocktail at Park’s Edge restaurant in Inman Park, Atlanta. At first read it doesn’t seem exceptional, but maybe because the pineapple juice wasn’t overpowering, or because Melanie shakes the hell out the drink so that it foams perfectly and the foam lasts ’til the final sip, the drink is well-balanced and truly enjoyable. The food here is also excellent so, if you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for dinner and drinks.

Ingredients
- Equal measure of Malibu rum and Myers rum
- Splash of fresh pineapple juice
- Brown sugar for rimming
- Cherry for garnish
Instructions
- Add the rums and juice to an ice-filled shaker
- Shake ’til it hurts
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, rimmed with the brown sugar
- Drop in a cherry
