
Habanero Infused Vodka and Tequila
It doesn’t get much hotter than the habanero pepper. And creating your own infusions with vodka, tequila or any other liquor is a great way to add real zing to a cocktail.

Ingredients
- 1 cup of liquor
- 1/2 – 3/4 habanero pepper
Instructions
- Wear rubber gloves! Do not get the pepper anywhere near your face, especially your eyes
- Cut the pepper in strips and add it to the liquor in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid
- Shake it, then refrigerate
- Your infusion will take 3 – 7 days. Check it daily and as soon as it’s hot enough for you, remove the peppers
- If the mixture gets too hot, just add more liquor
- You’re now ready to mix some great drinks, like the Bloody Hell
