Periodista means journalist. The drink comes from the Ola restaurant in the Sanctuary Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.

Ingredients

  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Splash of apricot brandy
  • 1/2 cup apricot puree (blend fresh apricots)
  • Splash of triple sec
  • 1 1/2 oz. Bacardi light rum
  • Twist of lime

Instructions

Shake all ingredients over ice, then strain into a glass. Garnish with skewered dried apricots and a slice of lime.
