John Wayne Manhattan
I’m not sure if John Wayne would have taken to amaretto but, overall, this seems to be a cocktail worthy of The Duke.

Ingredients
- 1 ounce Amaretto Liqueur
- 1/4 ounce Dry Vermouth
- 2 ounces Canadian Whiskey
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- 1 Maraschino Cherry
- 1 Sliver Orange Peel
Instructions
- Add first four ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice and stir
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
- Twist the orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then rub the peel around the rim and discard
- Garnish with the cherry
