Praying mantis cocktail recipePraying Mantis

The praying mantis is so named because its front legs are angled to give it the appearance of being in prayer. It might better be named preying mantis, however, as it’s a formidable predator and the females are known to devour the males after – and sometimes during – mating. Urgh! I’ve known a few women like that.

In color this drink relates to the insect but is otherwise smooth and easy on the palate.
