This is pretty much the accepted version of the Michelada cocktail. Supposedly, the drink became popular in Mexico in the 40s and its name comes from €œmi-chela-helada, which means €œmy-cold-light beer€œ.

  • 12 oz lite Mexican beer
  • 6 oz Clamato juice
  • 2 dashes of Salsa Inglesa or Worcester Sauce
  • 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Mix the salt and pepper and rim a cold beer glass with it
  2. Mix all other ingredients except beer with ice and pour with the ice into the glass
  3. Fill glass with the cold beer
