
Strawberry Basil Lemonade
This is from the cocktail menu at Houlihan’s Restaurant. They won’t tell all ingredients or measures, so there’s some guesswork here.
When I tasted this I was pleasantly surprised at the strawberry basil combination. The basil should have been muddled more to release its oils and the drink was a little sweet for my taste, however.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Plymouth gin
- 2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz strawberry syrup
- Fresh strawberries
- Fresh basil leaves

- In a highball glass muddle the strawberries, basil and syrup
- Add ice
- Add the gin and lemon juice
