No, this is nothing to do with Billy Corgan but it really is a “smashing” cocktail. I based it on a recipe from the Grant Grill in San Diego. Both Monin and Torani have a syrup that you could use, or you can make your own.
- 1 1/2 oz silver rum
- 1 oz Grand Marnier
- 1 oz pumpkin spice syrup
- Dash of orange bitters
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- Sugar for rimming
- Rim your cocktail glass with sugar
- Pour all ingredients over ice in a shaker and shake well
- Strain into cocktail glass

I made these the other night. My wife is not much of a liquor drinker – she prefers a good microbrew – but she declared this one of the best drinks she’s had in a long time. I’ll be making these again soon!
