Big Spender on a Budget
My version of the “Big Spender” champagne cocktail, for those of us with limited financial means.
Ingredients
- 3/4 oz tequila (recommend Dos Manos Blanco)
- 3/4 oz fresh orange juice
- 1/2 oz Mount Gay Eclipse rum
- Dash of blood orange bitters
- Rose sparkling wine (such as Louis Bouillot Cremant de Bourgogne Rose)
- Orange twist
Instructions
- Lightly shake all ingredients except sparkling wine over ice. Just enough to chill
- Strain into a champagne flute
- Top with the chilled rose
- Garnish with an orange twist
