Banana Milkshake for Hangovers
This one I’ve used myself. Supposedly, the banana helps calm the stomach, and with the honey, builds up the depleted blood sugar levels. The milk soothes the stomach and rehydrates your system. Bananas are also rich in the important electrolytes, magnesium and potassium, which are severely depleted during heavy drinking.
Frankly, who cares about all that mumbo jumbo. Just drink the damn stuff.
- 8 oz milk or soy milk
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp honey
- Put in a blender with a little ice and mix ’til smooth. If you have a headache with your hangover use earplugs so the sound of the blender doesn’t seem like you’re standing next to the engine of a 747.
- Pour into a glass and drink it down.
