The Vesper (James Bond Martini)
Here it is. The cocktail made famous by Ian Flemings’ James Bond in the 1953 book, Casino Royale and named by Bond for his romantic interest, Vesper Lynd.
- 3 measures Gordon’s gin
- 1 measure vodka
- 1/2 measure of Kina Lillet (a wine-based tonic with quinine)
- “Serve in a deep champagne goblet….Shake it very well until it’s ice-cold, then add a large, thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?”
