As with many other cocktails, the origin of the Sidecar is murky at best, though the recipe was first printed in 1922. The measurements given here are fairly standard but feel free to adjust them to suit yourself. Sometimes the drink is also sweetened by adding a sugar rim.
- 2 oz Brandy
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 1 oz lemon juice
Shake with ice for about 15 seconds and strain into a cocktail glass
