Popular during World War I, this is my own twist on this classic cocktail.
- 1 oz Grand Marnier
- 1.5 oz bourbon
- About 1/4 oz lemon juice
- Sugar (for the glass rim)
- Add all ingredients to ice in a cocktail shaker and shake really well
- Strain into a martini glass with a sugared rim
- Garnish with a slice of lemon, if you like
