After a long hot day of yard work I say “salud” to an ORIGINAL MOJITO, especially when it’s made with mint picked straight from my own garden.
- 2 oz Bacardi rum (or other light rum)
- 1/2 lime, cut in pieces
- Leaves from 2 stems of mint
- 1 – 2 tsp course sugar
- Soda water
- In a tall glass thoroughly muddle the rum with lime, mint and sugar.
- Fill glass with ice and top with soda.
